How to Play the Dinosaur Game on Mobile (Android & iPhone)
The dinosaur game was born on desktops, but it might be even better on a phone — one thumb, one tap, anywhere. Here's how to play on Android and iPhone, and which versions treat touchscreens best.
Option 1: play it in your mobile browser
Open our dinosaur game in any mobile browser — Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet, anything. Tap the screen to start, tap to jump. The canvas scales to your screen, runs in portrait or landscape, and your best score is saved on the device. No app, no storage used.
Option 2: Chrome's built-in dino on your phone
- Open the Chrome app and type chrome://dino in the address bar, or switch on airplane mode and load any page.
- Tap the dinosaur to start, tap anywhere to jump.
- Note: ducking isn't practical on mobile Chrome — time your jumps over pterodactyls instead.
Tap technique
Phone play rewards a different grip: hold the phone in both hands and tap with a thumb, or prop it and use your index finger like a buzzer. Short taps = short hops, exactly as on keyboard — the strategy guide applies unchanged. Screen latency matters more than reflexes; if your phone has a high-refresh display, the game feels noticeably easier.
